Improper input validation in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Apr-2023 Release 1 allows physically proximate attackers to execute bootloader code. The Exynos Fastboot USB interface improperly handles arbitrary USB input instead of validating it before bootloader processing. Exploitation is limited to selected Android 11, 12, and 13 Exynos devices and requires physical access, high privileges, and user interaction.
