CVE-2023-21435

Memory-address disclosure via Fingerprint TA logging

Published Feb 9, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025

Fingerprint TA information disclosure in Samsung Mobile Devices on Android 11 through 13 allows local users to read memory addresses from logs. Fingerprint TA writes memory addresses to a log instead of suppressing pointer values, exposing address-layout information to users with log access. Exploitation requires local high-privilege access, and the documented consequence is disclosure of memory-address information only.
