Broken access control in AXIS License Plate Verifier 2.8.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator privileges. Axis has not published the affected request handler or the authorization check that wrongly accepts an operator account. An operator account and network access to the camera are required; successful exploitation grants full application administration.
