Paired-device privilege escalation via Bluetooth use-after-free
Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Use-after-free in Bluetooth in Google Android 14 allows physically proximate attackers with paired devices to execute code in a privileged process. The Bluetooth component accesses freed memory while processing input from a paired device, enabling code execution in the Bluetooth process. Exploitation requires a paired device, needs no user interaction or additional execution privileges, and compromises the privileged Bluetooth process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
