Cross-user photo disclosure via wallet content URI
Published Aug 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Information disclosure in Android 11, 12, 12L, and 13 allows local users to read another user's wallet-card images without interaction. Quick Access Wallet SystemUI loads a wallet-card icon backed by a content URI under the primary user's authority, resolving a secondary user's photo across the user boundary. A malicious secondary-user wallet service and local low-privileged access are required; the consequence is limited to cross-user photo disclosure.
