Out-of-bounds write in Google Android's PowerVR GPU DDK 23.2 and earlier allows local users to gain kernel privileges through GPU system calls. OSMMapPMRGeneric in pmr_os.c consumes physical frame numbers from uninitialized stack variables, allowing user space to read and write arbitrary physical pages. A nonprivileged application must reach the affected GPU kernel interface; no user interaction or additional execution privilege is required.
