UI spoofing in the Packages component of Google Android 11, 12, 12L, and 13 allows attackers to obtain notification access via a malicious app. A malicious app supplies an excessively long service label that overruns the notification-access permission dialog and displays attacker-controlled text as a system message. Exploitation requires the user to confirm the deceptive prompt, after which the app receives notification-listener privileges.
