Script execution via unescaped message parameter
Published Aug 16, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Reflected XSS in WP Inventory Manager before 2.1.0.13 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted inventory item URL. The frontend reservation response writes the message URL parameter into the page without sanitizing the input or escaping the output. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link; the script then runs in that user's browser under the WordPress site's origin.
