Kernel information disclosure via HTBLogKM logging
Published Dec 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in Google Android SoC code allows local users to read kernel information through HTBLogKM without interaction. HTBLogKM in htbserver.c records sensitive kernel information in logs rather than preventing its exposure to an unprivileged caller. Exploitation requires local execution on a device using the affected PowerVR GPU component; the flaw does not alter data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
