Remote information disclosure via unchecked GNSS data
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Google Cloud's Android kernel allows remote attackers to disclose information through crafted GNSS assistance data. LPP_ConvertGNSS_DataBitAssistance in LPP_CommonUtil.c reads beyond a buffer because it fails to check an input-dependent bound. No privileges or user interaction are required, but exposure is limited to supported Pixel devices using the Exynos SLSI component.
