CVE-2023-21200

Local information disclosure via ISO path removal

Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in Android 13's Bluetooth stack allows local users to disclose process memory without user interaction. The on_remove_iso_data_path function in btm_iso_impl.h removes an ISO data path without adequately validating input, causing a read beyond the intended buffer boundary. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and can expose memory contents, with no reported ability to modify data or interrupt service.
