Remote information disclosure via Bluetooth bounds check
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Android 13 Bluetooth ACL processing allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted packet. The btm_acl_process_sca_cmpl_pkt function in btm_acl.cc applies an incorrect bounds check before reading packet data, permitting a read beyond the valid buffer. Exploitation requires Bluetooth reachability but no authentication or user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to information disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
