Local memory disclosure via unchecked buffer read
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Android 13 allows local users with System execution privileges to disclose process memory without user interaction. Exynos_parsing_user_data_registered_itu_t_t35 in VendorVideoAPI.cpp reads past a buffer because it does not verify the available data length. Exploitation requires code execution in the System context and exposes only adjacent memory; no integrity or availability impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
