Directory-name disclosure via unsanitized AJAX path
Published May 30, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Path traversal in Image Optimizer by 10Web before 1.0.27 allows remote authenticated users to list names beyond the WordPress site root. The get_subdirs AJAX handler uses an unsanitized dir parameter to enumerate a caller-selected filesystem path. Administrator-level access and a valid nonce are required; the reported result exposes directory and file names, not file contents.
