Local memory disclosure via heap over-read
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Google Pixel exynos-ril on Android kernel builds allows local users with System privileges to disclose memory. The encode function in miscdata.cpp reads beyond a heap-buffer boundary while processing data, exposing adjacent memory contents. System access is the reachability gate; exploitation needs no user interaction and has no reported integrity or availability effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
