Modem information disclosure via unchecked radio-node parsing
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Google Android's rild_exynos component allows local users with System privileges to disclose modem data. BuildGetRadioNode in protocolmiscbulider.cpp reads beyond an intended buffer because radio-node input is not validated correctly. Exploitation requires System execution privileges and no user interaction; the documented consequence is limited to local modem-data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
