CVE-2023-21155

Local information disclosure via missing null check

Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Dec 3, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in Android kernel libsitril allows local users to disclose information without additional privileges. BuildSetRadioNode in protocolmiscbuilder.cpp dereferences radio-node data without first checking for a null pointer, causing a read outside the intended memory bounds. Exploitation requires local access but no user interaction or extra execution privileges; the bounded impact is disclosure of data available to the affected component.
