Local privilege escalation via unchecked call-waiting data

Out-of-bounds read in the Android kernel IMS service allows local users with System execution privileges to elevate privileges without interaction. The Do_AIMS_SET_CALL_WAITING function in imsservice.cpp reads beyond an input buffer because it does not validate bounds. Exploitation requires existing System execution privileges and no user interaction, and successful abuse grants higher local privileges.
