Remote code execution via unchecked sync handle

An out-of-bounds read in Android 13 Bluetooth allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted periodic advertising sync events. The btm_ble_periodic_adv_sync_lost handler uses MAX_SYNC_TRANSACTION as an array index when no sync handle matches, reading one element past the internal buffer. Bluetooth proximity is required, but no privileges or user interaction are needed; successful exploitation executes code on the device.
