Local privilege escalation via XTLV heap overflow

Heap buffer overflow in Broadcom BCM4389 Android kernel code allows local users with System execution privileges to escalate privileges. The rtt_unpack_xtlv_cbfn function in dhd_rtt.c fails to constrain a destination write to heap-buffer bounds while unpacking XTLV data. Exploitation requires existing System execution privileges but no user interaction, and successful memory corruption raises local privileges.
