Remote information disclosure via unterminated printer attribute
Published Mar 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Android 13 BuiltInPrintService allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted IPP response. parse_printerAttributes treats a printer-supplied attribute string as null-terminated and reads beyond its allocated boundary when the terminator is absent. No privileges or user interaction are required, but the device must process a response from an attacker-controlled IPP printer; disclosure is limited to adjacent process memory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
