CVE-2023-21014

Local information disclosure via unchecked P2P input lengths

Published Mar 24, 2023 · Updated Mar 19, 2025

Out-of-bounds reads in Google Android 13 wpa_supplicant allow local users with System privileges to disclose process memory without interaction. Multiple P2pIface methods in p2p_iface.cpp pass caller-supplied MAC-address or WPS device-type byte arrays into core supplicant code without first enforcing the required lengths. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges and no user interaction; impact is limited to information exposed by the out-of-range reads.
