Local information disclosure via unchecked address lengths
Published Mar 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
Out-of-bounds reads in Android 13's p2p_iface.cpp allow local users with System privileges to disclose process memory without interaction. Several P2P AIDL methods forward caller-supplied address buffers to core supplicant code without verifying the required MAC-address length. Exploitation requires local System-level execution; it exposes adjacent memory but provides no reported write, code-execution, or service-interruption capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
