An out-of-bounds write in Android 10's NFC System component allows local users to escalate privileges without user interaction. The phNciNfc_MfCreateXchgDataHdr function creates a MIFARE exchange-data header without checking bounds, allowing an out-of-range write. Low-privilege local access is required; exploitation can gain elevated privileges and affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
