Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized id parameter
Published Apr 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
SQL injection in Vehicle Service Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary database queries. The manage_mechanic.php script places the id request parameter into an SQL command without sufficient neutralization of SQL syntax. Access to the administrative mechanic-management endpoint is required, after which injected queries can read, alter, or delete application database data.
