Batch-token disclosure via failed-revocation logging
Published Mar 23, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
Sensitive data exposure in Spring Vault before 2.3.3 and 3.0.0 through 3.0.1 allows local users to obtain a Vault batch token from logs. LifecycleAwareSessionManager.destroy() logs the token when batch-token revocation returns a Vault error or encounters an I/O failure. Exposure requires imperative-only session management, batch tokens, destroy invocation, failed revocation, and WARN-or-more-detailed logging.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
