An out-of-bounds read in MediaTek imgsys on affected chipsets allows local users to disclose information through a race condition. Concurrent imgsys activity creates a race that lets the component read beyond a valid buffer boundary; MediaTek has not disclosed the affected function or object. Exploitation requires System execution privileges and user interaction, and the reported consequence is local information disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
