Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped reception text

Stored cross-site scripting in Buy Me a Coffee – Button and Widget Plugin 3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The bmc_post_reception action accepts its text value without sufficient sanitization, and the plugin later outputs that stored value without context-appropriate escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the injected script executes in a victim’s browser when the affected page is viewed, enabling actions and data access within that victim’s session.
