Improper input validation in MediaTek chipset JPEG components on Android 12.0 and 13.0 allows local users to disclose information. The JPEG component processes input without the required bounds check, so a System-privileged caller can expose data beyond the intended boundary; MediaTek has not published a file or function name. Exploitation requires code running with Android System privileges and needs no user interaction; the published impact is limited to local information disclosure.
