Cross-site scripting via unsanitized id parameter
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Online Traffic Offense Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted id. The view_details.php handler inserts the id query parameter into the administrative offense-details response without neutralizing HTML or script content. Exploitation requires a victim with administrative-page access to follow the crafted link; the injected script then runs in that victim's browser context.
