Local privilege escalation via DRM double free

Improper synchronization in MediaTek display DRM on Android 12.0 and 13.0 allows local users to escalate privileges through a race. Concurrent access in the display DRM component can free the same allocation twice, but MediaTek has not disclosed the affected function or shared object. Exploitation requires local access with System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and affects MT6879, MT6895, MT6983, and MT8781 chipsets.
