Local privilege escalation via unchecked DRM write

Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek display DRM on Android 12.0 and 13.0 allows local users to escalate privileges through crafted input. The display DRM component fails to bounds-check untrusted input before a memory write, permitting data to be written beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires existing System execution privileges but no user interaction, and the consequence is confined to local privilege escalation.
