Confidentiality and integrity loss via TMR modification
Published Sep 6, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Improper privilege handling in affected AMD GPUs allows remote attackers to modify Translation Map Registers through the Secure Processor. The ASP fails to reject an operation attempted with insufficient privileges and permits changes to registers that govern protected memory translation. Exploitation requires high privileges and a high-complexity network path; successful changes expose or alter protected memory mappings.
