CVE-2023-20511Network attack vector

Arbitrary code execution via invalid pointer release

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026

Double-free in the AMD kernel mode driver for Radeon Instinct MI25 and Radeon PRO V620 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. The driver releases an invalid pointer, creating a double-free condition; AMD has not disclosed the triggering input, function, or call path. Exploitation requires high privileges and user interaction, and successful memory corruption executes code in the kernel driver's context.
