Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized position ID
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Advanced Online Voting System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the id parameter. The /admin/positions_row.php handler incorporates the id value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid administrator session is required; crafted queries can read or change application database records and disrupt database operations.
