SQL injection via crafted email parameter
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the Edit Handler of Control iD RHiD 23.3.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database operations via email. The /v2/customerdb/operator.svc/a endpoint incorporates the email argument into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. Low-privilege access is required; successful exploitation can read or modify accessible records and interrupt database-backed operations.
