Type confusion in Google Chrome before 112.0.5615.121 allows remote attackers to corrupt V8 heap memory through a crafted HTML page. V8's TurboFan optimizer assigns the internal hole sentinel an incompatible type, letting crafted JavaScript create arbitrary memory-read and memory-write primitives. A user must open attacker-controlled HTML; exploitation affects browser confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and Google observed exploitation in the wild.
