Open redirect via unvalidated HTTP parameters
Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Open redirect in Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform allows remote attackers to send users to malicious sites through crafted links. The web management interface accepts attacker-controlled HTTP request parameters without adequate validation and uses them to choose a redirect destination. Remote attackers must persuade a user to follow the crafted link; the direct consequence is navigation to an attacker-chosen website.
