CVE-2023-20248Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via insufficient field validation

Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Cisco TelePresence Management Suite before 15.13.6 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a user’s browser. The web-based management interface accepts malicious data in a specific field without sufficient validation, causing the browser to execute it as script. A valid account and a user who views the affected interface are required; execution remains in that interface’s browser context, where browser-based information can be read or altered.
