Administrator-browser script execution via unescaped search parameter
Published May 30, 2023 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
Reflected XSS in Kunal Nagar Custom 404 Pro before 3.7.3 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The c4p-main administration page places the s search parameter into an HTML attribute without escaping quotation marks or event-handler markup. The victim must be logged in as an administrator and follow the crafted URL; execution remains within that user's browser context on the site.
