CVE-2023-20219Network attack vector

Authenticated OS command execution via crafted configuration input

Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024

OS command injection in Cisco Firepower Management Center allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its management GUI. The interface passes crafted values from undisclosed configuration options without adequately neutralizing operating-system command syntax. Valid device credentials are required, but Administrator privileges are not; successful exploitation can control the appliance and interrupt service.
