HTML injection in Cisco Small Business SPA500 Series IP Phones allows remote attackers to modify browser-rendered pages via crafted links. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied input before placing it into a page, allowing attacker-controlled HTML to alter rendered content. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow the crafted link; the resulting page can redirect the user to a malicious site or enable further client-side attacks.
