Authenticated database manipulation via management-interface SQL injection
Published Aug 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in specified Cisco Unified Communications Manager 12.0, 12.5, and 14 releases allows remote authenticated users to alter database data. The web-based management interface improperly validates user-supplied fields in crafted HTTP requests before SQL processing; Cisco does not identify the endpoint or parameter. Read-only or higher application access is required, and exploitation reads or modifies database records or elevates privileges.
