CVE-2023-20184Network attack vector

Restricted-container disclosure via improper API authorization

Published May 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Improper authorization in Cisco Catalyst Center 2.2.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted-container data. The API accepts a specific request from a low-privileged account without enforcing the high-privilege authorization required for the target container. A valid low-privilege account and network access to the API are required; exploitation discloses container information without write access or service interruption.
