SSRF in Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote authenticated users to send arbitrary requests via crafted XML file uploads. The web interface parses external entity references in uploaded XML without proper restriction, causing the appliance to issue attacker-chosen requests. Valid Administrator-level credentials and a crafted XML upload are required; successful exploitation reaches network resources from the appliance's trust position.
