Buffer overflow in the web interface of Cisco Small Business Series Switches allows remote attackers to execute code as root via crafted requests. The BSS buffer-handling path fails to validate request data before a size-sensitive copy, allowing attacker-controlled input to overwrite memory. The interface is reachable without authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation grants full control of the switch.
