Administrator access via mishandled LDAP search replies

Authentication bypass in Cisco Modeling Labs 2.3.0 through 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access to the web interface. The external authentication handler treats an LDAP reply containing a non-empty array of search-result reference entries as successful and assigns administrator privileges. Exploitation requires LDAP authentication, valid credentials stored on the associated LDAP server, and the specified failed-search response; access permits reading and modifying all simulations and user-created data.
