Command injection in Cisco Identity Services Engine 3.2 allows local users with Administrator privileges to execute commands as root. Specific CLI commands pass crafted user input to the underlying operating system without sufficient validation, allowing injected command elements to change the executed command. The vulnerable CLI is reachable only after local authentication with valid Administrator privileges, and successful exploitation grants root control.
