Browser script execution via insufficient input validation
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in all releases of Cisco RV016, RV042, RV042G, RV082, RV320, and RV325 routers allows remote attackers to execute script. The web interface insufficiently validates input in crafted HTTP requests and later renders the malicious payload; Cisco has not disclosed the affected endpoints or parameters. Exploitation requires persuading a user to visit a payload-bearing page and exposes browser-based information or alters interface content in that user context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
