Cross-site scripting in Cisco Small Business RV router firmware allows remote attackers to run script code through crafted HTTP requests. The web-based management interface fails to validate attacker-controlled request input before incorporating it into pages shown to interface users. Exploitation requires persuading an interface user to visit a page containing the stored payload, enabling page actions or access to sensitive browser-based information.
